Acadia National Park, located on the coast of Maine, protects nearly 60 miles of coastline. While on the coast there are splendid views of Frenchman Bay. Frenchman Bay splits two sections of Acadia National Park; Schoodic and Mount Desert Island.
Have students observed the video Frenchman Bay Views to generate "I notice" or "I wonder" statements. These statements help promote descriptive observations, thoughtful questions, & relatable connection and can be used to complement a student-centered discussion.
