A walk on the tallgrass prairie in the heart of the Flint Hills at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve on the third Saturday of each month, beginning May 19th at 8 am. Group will meet at the Bottomland Trailhead located 2 miles south of the historic ranch headquaters and 1/3 mile east on the gravel county road directly by St. Anthony cemetery. The gravel road is located on the east side of Hwy 177.

Enjoy a leisurely informal prairie walk, as your guide identifies the native flora. Glenn Fell will be the official guide, but everyone's knowledge will be called upon for an informal and fun experience. This is a Kansas Native Plant Society Emporia Region event. Come and enjoy nature.
