Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve
Traveling Trunks

Teachers may choose from three Traveling Trunks available at the preserve.  Each trunk is full of curriculum-based educational activities and interesting props, ready for you to enjoy.

Loan period is for two weeks. The trunks may be picked up and dropped off at the preserve in person free of charge. To send the trunk through the mail, please call the preserve. Due to budget constraints, we must ask the borrowing school to pay for its shipment and return back to the preserve. It is also possible to drop the trunk off in person. If shipping, please use the zip ties enclosed to secure the trunk before returning. Call the preserve at 620-273-8494 to reserve your trunk today.

Activity booklets and inventory sheets are available for preview below.
