Tiles containing recycled glass and other
post-consumer and post-industrial wastes are available (or will shortly be available) from
several manufacturers.
Terra Green Ceramics: Terra Green produces two types of recycled
tile, Terra Traffic and Terra Classic. Both contain 50% or more post consumer glass, and

Summitville Tiles: Summitville produces several lines of tile
products using feldspar tailings, a post-industrial waste product. The lines which use
recycled materials include the following: Morganmates, Imperva, Imperva Granite,

Syndesis: Syndesis produces a product known as Syndecrete, which
makes use of up to 41% post-consumer waste products, including fly ash and plastic fibers.
It can be used in custom architectural elements such as counter tops, table tops, tile,
landscape elements and other applications. Syndesis custom builds the requested elements
