The site with a formally organized hub of stations on the front line in the border zone just across the Missouri River from Missouri. The site has a cluster of stations and the officers in the organization are represented there by Sam. C. Smith. Clarina Nichols article concerning the site is the most complete explanation yet of the activities of the Underground Railroad there, and that article alone indicates three conductors and a series of escapes that were completed.
