
"A Fugitive's Path-Escape on the Underground Railroad" is a 90-minute interactive program designed to give participants a first hand look many of the things runaway slaves encountered on their bid for freedom. Participants role play the part of a fugitive slave and during the program they meet slave hunters, Quakers, abolitionists, free blacks and others. The program gives participants insight into the issues surrounding slavery and the life of a fugitive slave in the year 1852.
