Real Time Tours

Walk the ground where some of the most pivotal events of the Battle of Stones River unfolded at the exact time the occurred 151 years ago. Groups will meet at the visitor center. Some programs will require driving to the starting point. Each walk will last ninety approximately 90 minutes.

10 AM - The Slaughter Pen

12 PM - Hell's Half Acre

2 PM - Fighting for the Nashville Pike

If you can't make these special walks, join a ranger or volunteer at the visitor center for Stones River Stories, a 30-minute talk featuring the story of a soldier or unit that fought in the Battle of Stones River. Programs will be offered at 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM.
