What Can You Take Up to the Crown?
 

If you reserve a ticket to go up to the crown here's the what you can take, besides yourself;

  • a camera (no bag)
  • a cell phone, ONLY if it is your only camera

To stay hydrated, drink plenty of water before you go up into the crown, no bottles allowed inside the statue.Thanks for understanding that security and your safety is our primary goal, along with helping you have a great visit.

Did You Know?
The Statue's original torch was the first part constructed in 1876. In 1984 it was replaced by a new copper torch covered in 24K gold leaf which is lighted by floodlight at night. The original torch is currently located in the lobby of the monument. Access to the torch has been closed since 1916.
