FOLLOW THE STATUE OF LIBERTY ON INSTAGRAM
On October 28, 2014, the Statue of Liberty began sharing photo snap shots of the day to day operations of Liberty Island as well as Ellis Island Immigration Museum.
In August 2011, the Statue of Liberty National Monument launched its official Facebook page. Since then, thousands have checked-in, shared photographs from their visit and learned interesting historical facts about the Statue.
In July 2009, the Statue of Liberty live-tweeted the reopening of the Statue's crown. Since then, we have used Twitter to capture and share events taking place on and around Liberty Island.
