Canadian Pacific #2317, a steam locomotive built in 1923 for passenger service, pulls an excursion train through the woodlands of Northeastern Pennsylvania on one of Steamtown's seasonal excursions.
Steamtown's short train rides and excursions are available seasonally. For 2009, we began operations with the short train excursions on Sunday, April 19. The Scranton Limited short train excursions will operate on Wednesdays - Sundays through Saturday, December 5.

Excursion Reservations: (570) 340-5204, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. Sorry, Internet and/or e-mail reservations and/or sales are not available; same-day phone excursion reservations are also not available (walk-up sales only, if available) . The short excursions and Locomotive Cab Rides are unreserved on a first-come, first-served, walk-up basis.
In compliance with the ), our historic passenger coaches have limited capacity for physically-challenged individuals and their guests, and must be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The "Scranton Limited" short excursion rides are not handicapped accessible.
