The 2012 Steamtown NHS Volunteer Banquet has been scheduled for Sunday, November 4, 3 - 6 p.m., at the Ramada Inn, 8201 Northern Blvd., Clarks Summit, Pa.

The buffet menu will include:

House salad

Herb Roasted Chicken or Sausage with Peppers and Onions

Mashed Potatoes or Roasted Potatoes or Rice Pilaf

Fresh vegetables

Rolls and Butter

Soft drinks, coffee or tea

Dessert

We are pleased to announce that, this year, due to funding from our Eastern National Museum Store partner, this dinner will be provided at no cost to all active Volunteers-in-Park (VIPs). Guests and park employees planning to attend will pay only $16.74/person, which includes the gratuity, with their reservation. Checks should be made payable to the Ramada Inn.

And as usual, Interpretive Park Rangers Ken Ganz and Tim O'Malley will do their "magic" with an annual slide show, and all volunteers will receive a special surprise "thank you" remembrance.
