Springfield Armory NHS, US NPS

The THEATER is the setting for the Park's ORIENTATION FILM, 18 minutes in length, describing the Armory's history from 1794 to 1968.

The THEATER can easily seat about fifty visitors. A recently-installed digital projection system can handle CD, DVD, VHS tape, and computer input. Traditional slide projection is also available - all from an enclosed projection room in the rear of the theater.

Besides showing the Park's orientation film, the theater is frequently used for classroom instruction and, occasionally, public or private group meetings by permission.
