Description

Elementary school students are invited to step back in time with a visit to an historic Great Lakes village and United States Life Saving Station/Maritime Museum in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

During Glen Haven Days, students will rotate through different activities in both the village, where they will discover various aspects of village life, and the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, where they will learn about shipwrecks and early rescue techniques performed by the US Life-saving Service.
