Winter Hours to Begin at Sitka National Historical Park

Sitka National Historical Park will begin winter operations on Wednesday, October 1st. The visitor center will be open from 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays and federal holidays. Tours of the Russian Bishop’s House are available weekdays by advance reservation, as staffing allows. There will be no charge for Russian Bishop’s House tours or for the visitor center. Also beginning October 1st, park trails will be open from 7 am – 8 pm. The route between Metlakatla Street and Sawmill Creek Road is open for through traffic at all times. Cyclists are reminded that bicycles are limited to this direct route and must be walked.
