Unless otherwise noted, all programs meet at the visitor center and many involve an easy stroll through the forest on park trails. These activities are free to the public. For more information, call (907) 747-0110. Activities planned for July 26-August 1:

Sunday, July 26
12:00 – Carved History: The totem poles and Native cultures of Southeast Alaska.
1:00 – Battle of Sitka: Join a ranger for a guided walk to the sites of the Kiks.ádi fort and the Battle of 1804.

Monday, July 27
12:00 & 1:00 – Carved History: The totem poles and Native cultures of Southeast Alaska.

Tuesday, July 28
12:00, 1:00 and 3:00 – Carved History: The totem poles and Native cultures of Southeast Alaska.

Wednesday, July 29

7:00 pm – Breaking Out of the Bentwood box.

Thursday, July 30
12:00 - Plants of Sitka: Join a ranger for a walk and talk on plants and the forest ecosystem found in Sitka National Historical Park and its surroundings.
1:00 – Battle of Sitka: Join a ranger for a guided walk to the sites of the Kiks.ádi fort and the Battle of 1804.

Friday, July 31
