Vertical Pursuits: An Evening Program about Rock Climbing.  Sitka National Historical Park continues its 2008 series of evening programs with a presentation by Park Ranger and rock climber Steven Powers. Have you ever wondered how climbers get their gear and ropes to the top of a huge cliff? Come find out, and enjoy beautiful photos from climbing areas in America’s public lands. The program starts at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 3rd, in the visitor center theater.  The program is free and open to the public. Please call 747-0110 for more information.
