Northwest Coast Art History Cruise
The University of Alaska Southeast will conduct the Northwest Coast Art History Cruise on July 27-August 3, 2009. This is a partnership program with Sitka National Historical Park and is funded through a National Park Service grant. During the course, students participate in weaving and carving workshops, while being introduced to southeast Alaska Native arts and cultures within the surrounding communities of Sitka, Kake, Hoonah, and Juneau.
