Winter Movie Program, April 11-12
The Winter Film Flurry continues the exploration of the southwest at the Sitka National Historical Park theater this weekend. On Saturday April 11th, the film Land of Contrasts takes the viewer through the desert canyons, harsh deserts, and the oak and pine forest peaks of Big Bend National Park. Then on Sunday April 12th take a trip through Zion National Park. Learn the history of the park’s cultural heritage from the first inhabitants the Ancestral Puebloans through the Mormon pioneers. These films will be shown on the hour, every hour, from 9am to 4pm. It is free and open to everyone, so stop by the visitor center before your walk through the park this coming weekend.
