Park Looks for Summer Staffing

Sitka National Historical Park is beginning its summer seasonal hire process. We are looking to hire park rangers and park guides for the interpretive division. These positions will work at the park visitor center and the Russian Bishop’s House. Duties may include greeting visitors, taking part in interpretive tours, walks, demonstrations & talks, collecting fees and helping staff the Alaska Geographic Book Store. These positions are expected to start work on or about late April to late September.


Working at Sitka National Historical Park presents a great opportunity to share the wonders of Sitka with visitors from around the world, while working with energetic and motivated people. Training is provided and staff will be required to wear an official National Park Service uniform or historic costume.
