On Friday, April 5, 2013, the Tennessee River Museum, in a partnership with Shiloh National Military Park, will host a program on Confederate General P.G.T. Beauregard. The program is being offered in commemoration
of the 151st anniversary of the bloody Battle of Shiloh.

Ranger Chris Mekow, who portrays Beauregard in the new Shiloh park film "Shiloh-Fiery Trial," will discuss the Creole's role in the battle and his service throughout the Civil War.
Learn about Beauregard's fractious relationship with Confederate president Jefferson Davis, his grand schemes to
win the war for the South, and his post-war life and legacy.

The program will begin at 11:00 am at the Tennessee River Museum and last for about an hour. The event is free and open to the public! For more information or to register in advance, contact Shiloh Battlefield at 731-689-5696 or the Tennessee River Museum at 731-925-2364.
