Join Park Ranger Heather Smedley on a bicycle tour of Shiloh National Military Park, July 28th, 2012. This interpretive tour will discuss the Fallen Generals of Shiloh. Who are these fallen generals? What roles did they play during the battle? When was their fate decided during the awful two day engagement? These are a few questions that will be answered as we bike to their mortuary monuments throughout the park.
The bike ride will start at 9:00am and will last approximately two hours. Participants will need to bring their own bicycle, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Anyone interested may register in advance by contacting the visitor center at 731-689-5696.
