Notice of Intent published in Federal Register on February 25, 2004

A "Notice of Intent" (NOI) to prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Statement is published in the Federal Register prior to beginning a General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement. Apart from satisfying the regulatory requirements of NEPA, a NOI serves to inform people about project's purpose and provide information about how to become involved in the planning and decision making process. A NOI for the Tuskegee Airmen GMP appeared in the Federal Register on February 25, 2004. An electronic copy of the NOI is available for download on the Newsletters Page of this web site.
