Join rangers and volunteers for a series of programs that will shed light on the military and civilian stories of the Union occupation of Murfreesboro. Visitors will have a chance to tour the remanants one of the largest earthen fortifications built during the Civil War and understand how Fortress Rosecrans served as an important supply depot for the Union army and a how the relationships between soldiers and civilians reshaped the lives of the people of Murfreesboro during the last two years of the war.
