The Selma Interpretive Center Will Experience Periodic Closures for Construction in Preparation for Installation of New Exhibits

Selma, AL – The National Park Service, Selma Interpretive Center will close periodically unannounced, beginning Monday, March 17, 2014 through Friday, April 11, 2014 for construction in preparation for the installation of new permanent exhibits. The center will be closed the entire final week of construction, Monday, April 7 through Friday, April 11, 2014.

The center will re-open to the public on Saturday, April 12, 2014 during regular hours 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The new exhibits will extend the education of the Selma Voting Rights Movement and Selma to Montgomery March of 1965.
