Did You Know? The Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail was created by an act of Congress in 1996. The National Park Service operates the Lowndes County Interpretive Center, the first of three planned centers. It is halfway between Selma and Montgomery and is on the site of the original “Tent City”. more...
