Sierra Interagency Black Bear Group [SIBBG]

In 2000, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks joined Yosemite National Park and Inyo National Forest to form the Sierra Interagency Black Bear Group. Our communal goal is to share information, techniques, and ideas; to coordinate policies and information; and to eliminate political barriers to progress - all with the ultimate goal of preserving a healthy black bear population free of human influences on a regional scale. We are also coordinating with our partners at Sequoia National Forest, the California State Department of Fish and Game, our communities, and you! As always, any feedback and/or ideas are appreciated. Please visit the SIBBG web site for more information.
