Scotts Bluff National Monument has a number of plans either in the process of being written, approved or in place. Park planning is a decision-making process. From General Management Plans to exhibit plans, the planning process includes research, internal scoping, public scoping and lots of rewriting. A plan may require an Environmental Impact Statement (NEPA) or other documents.
