  • Salt River Bay NHP&EP Visitor Contact Station Open until June 2014

    We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays through the 6th of June 2013! 9:30AM-4:00PM From November 14, 2013 to June 14, 2014. Based on staff availability we open by appointment, or reserve for specific function. Call 340-773-1460 for more information.

Directions

There are several air carriers to St Croix arriving at the Henry E. Rohlesen Airport. The park is five miles from Christiansted National Historic Site and can be reached by car via Rt. 75 from Christiansted, connecting to Route 80. Cars may be rented at the airport and various other island locations. Ask your lodging hosts for information about guided land tours.

Did You Know?

Christiansted

After the mid-1660s, the village at Salt River was relocated to another harbor on the northeast coast of St. Croix known as Bassin, later to become the town of Christiansted under the Danes in 1735.
