Eastern National

Our bookstore is operated by Eastern National, a cooperating agency that partners with Saratoga National Historical Park to provide books, educational toys, and gifts that delight, inform, and inspire. 

Located in the park's Visitor Center, Eastern National Bookstore is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, seven days a week.  Like the Visitor Center, it is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

The bookstore can be reached by calling 518-664-9821 ext. 224 (also the park Information Desk).  Eastern National also has a website for online browsing, at www.eparks.com

American General Philip Schuyler (pronounced "Skyler") could be called "The Father of the American Canal System." His plans for an canal system in New York, though never used in his lifetime, became the groundwork for the Champlain Canal --America's first canal.
