The Friends of Saratoga Battlefield is committed to generating appreciation of the park's history and heritage. For over 25 years, this non-profit organization has sponsored many annual events, programs, and projects at Saratoga National Historical Park including the bike fix-it stations, August music series, and living history programs.

Their newest project, and largest endeavor to date, is the Saratoga Surrender Site - the very land where British General John Burgoyne surrendered his sword to American General Horatio Gates following the Battles of Saratoga 240 years ago.
