THE SAND CREEK MASSACRE NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE WILL OPEN FOR THE 2008 SEASON BEGINNING APRIL 1.

IN 2008, THE SAND CREEK MASSACRE NHS WILL BE OPEN 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM DAILY.

SPECIAL ACCESS ONTO THE SITE PRIOR TO APRIL 1, 2008 MAY BE ARRANGED BY CONTACTING THE PARK AT LEAST THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE. ACCESS WILL BE DETERMINED BY STAFF/RANGER AVAILABILITY AND FORECASTED WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Did You Know?
The Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes hold an annual Spiritual Healing Run annually at the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site. Most tribal participants travel to the site from Montana, Wyoming, and Oklahoma.
