Today, the building is interpreted as a modern-day version of a West India Goods Store. Operated by Eastern National, the store is stocked with retail goods from around the world, including spices, tea, coffee, ceramics, glassware, and books, the same types of goods that were sold in Salem's West India Goods Stores in the early nineteenth centuries.
