Tunnels
TUNNELS - An elaborate system of many hidden tunnels was used to move cannon, soldiers, and supplies from one part of San Cristobal to the other in time of battle. Segments of the tunnels could be destroyed by gunpowder charges set into the walls if it became necessary to block an enemy's advance.  |
