| The American Camp Visitor Center, located on Cattle Point Road six miles south of Friday Harbor, is open daily year round. Highlights include three cases of artifacts from the park's collections,a research library (by appointment)and a Treaty of Oregon display. A full selection of books and gifts also are available for purchase, and park staff are ready to provide the latest information about the park and island. |

| The Royal Marine Barracks, built as a privates' mess in 1860 and converted to a barracks in 1867, serves as a visitor contact station during the summer season. Features include a laser disc slide show, "then and now" photography exhibit and book and gift sales. The barracks also serves as a venue for programs such as the Candlelight Ball in late July and the Holiday Social in December. |
