Your donations help make our park a better place for all visitors

San Juan Island National Historical Park is able to accept donations directly (by check), or through its cooperating association Discover Your Northwest (by check or credit card). Public support is an essential element in the management, preservation, and restoration of National Park Service lands. No other federal agency relies as heavily on the generosity and kindness of its visitors.

The Fund for People in Parks was established in 2014 to provide financial assistance and professional services to complete inspirational projects that enhance the visitor experience in western National Parks. The Fund works closely with park staff to bring private philanthropic support to projects that might not otherwise be funded. The Fund has provided grants for projects at San Juan Island, including new educational signs on the Jakle's Lagoon trail and new military uniform items for the park's popular reenactment programs.
