Sagamore Hill offers Free Nature Walks on Sunday Afternoons in February

Join a Park Ranger each Sunday in February ( Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28 ) at Sagamore Hill for our free Winter Nature Walks down to our beach on the Cold Spring Harbor side of the Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Discover the fascinating world of nature during winter and learn about the wildlife that call Sagamore Hill home. The walk begins at the Visitor Center at 2:00pm and the group will be led down our Nature Trail to Cold Spring Harbor Inlet. The nature walk will last one hour with a total walking distance of approximately 1 mile. There are several small hills along the trail route. Please dress appropriately and wear sturdy foot wear. This program is free of charge.
