Twilight Hike

These hikes start approximately 1 hour before sunset and last until approximately. 1 hour after sunset. The hike is considered easy. The hike is about 2 miles and takes about 2 hours. The terrain is relatively flat. The group will walk up a sandy wash for the first half of the walk. Following the sunset; the group will return on a trail in the fading light. As space is limited, advance registration is required and can be made by calling the visitor center at (520) 733-5158.

Did You Know?
Even though the Sonoran Desert is known as very hot and dry place, snow sometimes falls and accumulates on the desert floor of Saguaro National Park. When it does it turns the desert into a winter wonderland.
