Are you ready to hit the trail? The Junior Ranger program will help you explore five national parks and one national historic trail!
You can visit any of these parks to earn the Santa Fe National Historic Trail Junior Ranger badge: Fort Larned National Historic Site, Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site, Fort Union National Monument, Pecos National Historical Park, and Capulin Volcano National Monument.

Did You Know?
In 1821, the eastern terminus of the historic Santa Fe Trail was Franklin, Missouri; by 1832, Independence, Missouri; and by 1845, at Westport Landing, now Kansas City, Missouri. Textiles and hardware were traded west; silver and mules were traded east.
