July - August: 10 am to 6 pm

When is the park open?
The park is open year-round during daylight hours. During the winter, services are limited. The displays and bronze statutes along the interpretive trail are covered to prevent damage from inclement weather, and the visitor center is closed. The entrance gate opens mid-April.

When are park rangers available for questions and programs?
Mid-May - Columbus Day: A bilingual (French-English) park ranger is available most days.
After Columbus Day - October: A park ranger or volunteer may be available.
November - mid-May: On-site staff at the visitor center are not regularly scheduled.

Did You Know?

French Huguenots and Catholics settled Saint Croix.

Saint Croix Island was settled by Huguenots (French Protestants) and Catholics, a rare example of religious tolerance between these two groups. The island is protected today as part of Saint Croix Island International Historic Site.
