October is Archaeology Month. Join us in a fun-filled day to learn more about archaeology and its importance in understanding our past, and the need to preserve and protect America's and the world's treasures.
Some of the activities include Building an Arch, Spear-throwing, Rock Wall Art, and reconstuction of "artifacts". Other activities include making Cornhusk Dolls, Grinding Wheat and Corn, and Flintknapping. A movie, museum, guided tours, and giftshop are also available.
