Be aware of your surroundings while visiting Russell Cave. You should always be on the lookout for snakes and poison ivy when hiking. Remember, all wildlife, including snakes, are protected. Wear insect repellent if you plan to spend a lot of time on the trail. Always wear comfortable shoes, and stay on the marked trails at all times. |
Did You Know?
Russell Cave National Monument gets its name from Thomas Russell and his family. They owned the property when the maps of the area were made around 1835 - 1928.
