Fairytale Characters Come to Life
at Roger Williams National Memorial

On Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Roger Williams National Memorial in downtown Providence, RI, Kaleidoscope Theatre will perform the musical production GOLDILOCKS & THE THREE BEARS! Showtime is 3:00 pm.  As a special treat, to begin the festivities, fan-favorite characters Snow White and Cinderella will be making appearances.  Both princesses will be reading their stories, singing songs, greeting audience members, and posing for photographs. Snow White will arrive at 2:00 pm and Cinderella will follow at 2:30 pm.

Kaleidoscope Theatre's GOLDILOCKS & THE THREE BEARS is an original musical adaptation that has been performed for over twenty-five years. Come with us on a delightful romp through the traditional tale of Goldilocks, but be prepared for a new twist at the end. Did you ever wonder what happened after Goldilocks ran all the way home? Join us on September 19th to find out! This presentation of the famous fairytale is an adaptation by Kaleidoscope Theatre’s Executive Director David G. Payton and is filled with all the wonderful characters audiences have come to know and love.

A Rhode Island-based theatre company, Kaleidoscope Theatre has had international exposure and acclaim performing at two National Conventions and an International Convention in Jerusalem, Israel.  Lauded for its unique versions of famous fairytales, Kaleidoscope Theatre is well known for presenting plays which help children cope with common social issues such as divorce and drug addiction and has received numerous awards including a RI Theatre Achievement Award and a RI Jefferson Award.

Cast members for GOLDILOCKS & THE THREE BEARS are Goldilocks (Elizabeth Silvia of Burrillville, RI), Mama Bear (Beth Silvia of Burrillville, RI), Papa Bear (Chris Schultz of South Yarmouth, MA), Baby Bear (Jeffrey Sewell of Weymouth, MA) and the Narrator (Ryan Hanley of Cranston, RI). Snow White will be portrayed by Jamie Dellorco of Franklin, MA and Cinderella will be played by Jillian Rivers-Keegan of Burrillville, RI.

September 19th  is also a Waterfire© night, so pack a picnic dinner to have in the park and plan to spend the afternoon with Snow White, Cinderella, Goldilocks, and the Three Bears and the evening in beautiful downtown Providence.    You won’t want to miss this one!
