Providence. Roger Williams National Memorial will be hosting a performance of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream by the Flying Vegetables Theatre Troupe on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 3:00 pm.
Flying Vegetables Theatre Troupe, a miscellany of teens and young adults from the four corners of Rhody and the wilds of Southern Massachusetts, is committed to free theatre, by the people, for the people. This is their first production. They have been very well received thus far, having been bombarded with a wide assortment of edible projectiles at every venue. For more information about the troupe, please visit http://flyingvegetables.blogspot.com
September 5th is also a Waterfire© night, so pack a picnic dinner to have in the park and plan to spend the afternoon soaking up a little Shakespeare and the evening in beautiful downtown Providence. You won’t want to miss this one!
