Tuesdays & Wednesdays June 21 - September 7.

Rocky Mountain Transit Management in conjunction with Rocky Mountain National Park offers an interpretive tour of Trail Ridge Road. The tour departs Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at 10 a.m. and returns at 3 p.m. The tour will stop at the following locations:

  • Many Parks Curve
  • Rainbow Curve
  • Far View Curve
  • Milner Pass
  • Alpine Visitor Center-Passengers will have one hour for lunch
  • Rock Cut
  • Forest Canyon Overlook

Ample time will be allowed at all stops for photographs and viewing.

Rocky Mountain National Park personnel will be onboard to describe the history and geologic wonders of the highest continuously paved road in North America. They will also be available to answer any questions.

Reservations are required. The cost for adults is $27. Youths 16 and under $13. Children not occupying a seat are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center Book Store. Call 970-577-7477 for reservations or more information.

Did You Know?
Last winter, the coldest temperature inside the Alpine Visitor Center was 21.2 degrees. The snow insulates the building when it is closed for the winter.
