Evening Programs at Glacier Basin Campground

Glacier Basin Campground is on Bear Lake Road, 3.7 miles south of the Moraine Park Visitor Center.

Programs are presented in the amphitheater located across from Loop B.

All programs are free and open to the public. Park entrance fees apply.

 

Friday, August 21 at 8:30 p.m.
Finding "Nemo" in the Rockies
Like Nemo, the Greenback Trout got lost, even thought extinct. Then a few were found in a small stream & bred in hatcheries. They returned to Rocky & now visitors once again can fish for them in the park.

 

Saturday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m.
We Can Learn It All From Trees
Hear two stories about a great Kapok tree, a 300 year-old legend from India, & a Grandpa Tree in Rocky. Join in the fun as the ranger uses audience participation & percussion instruments to tell these stories.
