Raptor Volunteers have been on the job for the last month. If you've ever spent time with birders, you know that they're an informed and self-educated bunch. The depth and breadth of the knowledge that the raptor monitoring volunteer group shared with me made for an informative and fun morning watching crows, vultures, eagles, peregrine falcons and ravens as they went about their daily routine in Lumpy Ridge.

Campground Host Volunteers (August 8, 2014) - Campground hosts may well be the most outgoing group at Rocky. This trait is critical for a position that requires constant interaction with visitors from all over the country and the globe.
