Learn more about Estes Park’s sister city, Monteverde, on Saturday, June 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center in Rocky Mountain National Park.  Monteverde is a region in the mountains of northwestern Costa Rica that harbors more diversity than almost any other place on the planet.  The film “Rhythms in the Clouds” explores the origins and patterns of this diversity with spectacular footage and sounds gathered over the course of several years by local naturalists Alexander Vilegas and Mark Wainwright.  This 60 minute film examines both the value and the fragility of the region’s ecosystems making a moving call for ongoing conservation.

All programs are free and open to the public.  For more information about Rocky Mountain National Park please call (970) 586-1206.
