Hidden Valley

a photo of Hidden Valley
Hidden Valley typifies the boreal ecosystem within the park. Spruce and fir trees seen here, along with understory species such
as farie slipper orchids, feather moss and moon fern, create a forest environment similar to that seen further north. Hidden Valley even has a type of soil, a Spodosol, commonly seen in places like Scandanavia or Canada.
