Rocky Mountain National Park has created these
screen savers for you to download and use on your personal computer.
More sophisticated park screen savers are available through the
park's official cooperating association, Rocky
Mountain Nature Association. RMNA is also the best source for
books, maps, and videos about this spectacular national park.
Instructions For Downloading and Installing Screen
Savers
To download a screen saver, just double click
on the screen saver file name on the web page. A dialog box will
open asking if you want to launch the file or save the file. You
should choose to save the file to your local hard drive. You must
save the file to your C:\Windows file folder if you are using Windows
3.x, Windows 9x, Windows ME, or Windows XP. If you are using
Windows 2000 or
Windows NT you must save the file to your C:\WINNT file folder.
After you have successfully downloaded the screen
saver you must activate the screen saver so you can view it on your
PC. To do this go to your desktop and right click on your wallpaper
and choose Properties. From the Properties dialog box choose the
Screen Saver tab. From the Screen Saver dialog box click on the
arrow next to the current Screen Saver name box. This should display
the list of screen savers you may choose from. Scroll down until
you see the RMNP-Scenic and choose it by clicking on it. You may
also wish to set the Wait: to the desired time you want the computer
to wait to start the screen saver.
If you want to see the screen saver right away
you can click on the Preview button to view the screen saver now.
