  • Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway Road Closures and Construction update Winter 2013

    Construction work on Rock Creek Parkway at Waterside Drive has resumed. Work will continue into Spring 2013. Delays are expected as lane closures occur to accomodate work. More »

General Admission to Rock Creek Park is nicely priced: FREE!

Group picnic reservation requests and athletic field reservation requests may be completed online through the DC Department of Park and Recreation Permit Office: http://dpr.dc.gov/DC/DPR/Facilities+and+Permits/Permits+and+Reservations

To request a wedding permit for Meridian Hill Park, Old Stone House garden, or Montrose Park call the Special Use Permits Officer at 202-895-6013.

All planetarium programs, environmental education programs, and ranger-led programs (except Horseback Tours) are free.
